Well, im gonna give this to you in a nutshell guys, DAoC is a fading MMO that still has around 10,000 players who play regularly. It was made around 10 years ago, and is fading due to games like Startcraft/World of Warcraft/War hammer/Ect. but enough about the history, lets get to the story

When you begin, you have a choice of 3 Realms to fight for

Midgard- Mainly large characters such as Trolls, dwarves, ect. These people are from the snowy mountainous regions

Hibernia- Small people who are in touch with nature, and alot of their lives revolve around nature

Albion- Tall, slender, intelligent people from the lush lands of Albion

***All Realms have basically the same types, but some are better, some are worse, you'll just have to find out***

The game mainly revolves around PvP/RvR and the like, but the PvE plays a large role

***PvP = Player vs Player/RvR = Realm vs Realm/PvE = Player vs Enemy***

The PvE is important by gaining important items that help you in PvP, items such as Artifacts, that level while you experience, give you great skills for the Frontiers. While PvP gives you things called "Realm Points". These realm points accumulate and eventually earn you, Realm Levels. With each Realm Level, you get a Realm Skill Point. Realm Skill points can be spent to get you amazing skills for the Frontiers, which can be used to Pwn your enemys.
